Shannon Ray
vice President, Community Engagement
she/her/hers
Shannon’s earliest memories are of being upside-down. She enjoyed movement based arts such as gymnastics and cheer, climbing, and jumping as a child which grew into a strong desire for novel experiences & dreams of running away with the circus in adulthood. This ultimately led her to pursue aerial arts & movement. Shannon’s aerial journey started with Lyra, and has expanded to encompass a wide variety of apparatuses & movement arts. Along with aerial, Shannon enjoys movement modalities such as belly dance, burlesque, and Liquid Motion®️.

Jesse has worked with non-profit organizations for years and is grateful to have the opportunity to work with Five Rivers Flow Arts. Jesse brings with him a love for the arts and storytelling and is excited to partner with artists of all skill levels looking for opportunities to connect with one another and develop their skills.

Michelle Harr
Treasurer & Secretary
she/her/hers
Michelle didn’t grow up on doing movement arts – she was asked to leave both her childhood ballet and gymnastics classes for being too distractible and distracting. Her first experience with aerial silks changed that for her. She learned how strong, graceful, and creative she is. Michelle believes in aerial arts as an opportunity to express one’s creativity and connect with one’s body. Her favorite modalities are aerial sling, chair, burlesque, and Liquid Motion®️. She’s passionate about expressing herself through movement and helping others build confidence and connection to their bodies. She’s excited to be a part of FRFA to bolster and broaden accessibility of the aerial community, especially for folks who may not see themselves as dancers and artists.
